About Affiant: Proof of Service
Affiant is built for California's new service-of-process law, AB 747, which takes effect January 1, 2027. Every proof of service must include a photo of the service location with a readable stamp that automatically records the date, time, and GPS coordinates, including photos of unsuccessful attempts. Affiant makes that the easy part of your day. AT THE DOOR • One tap opens the camera with a live GPS accuracy badge and your distance from the job address. • Every photo is stamped automatically with the date, time, and GPS coordinates. Photos come only from the camera, never the photo library. • A framing guide reminds you to capture the door and unit number, and asks why if you photograph the entrance instead. • No signal indoors? Take the photo anyway. Affiant asks for the explanation the law requires. • Unsafe to take a photo? One button records the attempt and your safety statement…
