After Words holds those things safely, and delivers them when the time comes — a letter to your daughter on her eighteenth birthday, an explanation your son can read when he is older, the location of the papers nobody else knows about. You write it once. We wait as long as it takes. THREE WAYS A LETTER CAN ARRIVE On a date you choose A birthday, an anniversary, a morning years from now. Pick the day and the hour, and it arrives then. After a long silence If you have not opened the app for a period you set, your letters go out. Opening the app resets the clock. Nothing else is required of you. When people you trust confirm Choose people who know you.
