Awesome Cats

Awesome Cats is a fast category word game for 2–8 players. Every round deals a category and a letter—movies, bands, hockey players, world cities—and everyone races the clock to name up to five answers that start with it. Here's the twist: only unique answers score. If you and your sister both write Star Wars, you both get nothing. The points go to the player who thought of the movie nobody else did, so the safe answer is never the smart answer. Scoring is automatic and forgiving. Answers are checked against real banks of tens of thousands of movies, shows, musicians, athletes and cities, and a close-enough spelling still counts. It's a party game, not a spelling test.
