Axis: Neck Posture

Requires AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods Pro, AirPods Max or Beats Fit Pro. Most headphones cannot do this. Most posture apps score you against the position you started in. If you begin a session already hunched over a laptop, they call that hunched position "good" and congratulate you for holding it. Axis doesn't do that. Your headphones already contain the motion sensors Apple built for spatial audio. Axis reads them and measures your neck against a fixed upright neutral: neck vertical, ears over your shoulders, gaze level. Ninety degrees.
