Backmark: Antique Identifier

Backmark tells you what an old object is, what it is probably worth, and how sure it is. Point your camera at a vase, a silver spoon, a chair or a painting. Backmark looks at its shape, material and decoration, and reads any maker's mark the photo shows, because that mark is the best clue to who made a piece and when. YOU SEE HOW SURE THE ANSWER IS Every result says Strong match, Possible match or Not sure yet, and why. When the photo could belong to more than one thing, you see the other possibilities side by side. A VALUE RANGE WITH ITS BASIS Values are ranges, never a single number, and each one says what it is based on. When an item could be worth a lot and the answer is not certain, Backmark tells you to get it appraised instead of guessing a price.
