About BeatStep: Walking Music Game
Walk to music. Turn everyday walks into a game. BeatStep is an iPhone rhythm game that turns your walking rhythm into a score. Choose an Apple Music song or a built-in demo, secure your iPhone in a front pocket or snug waist pouch, and get moving. Switch between Walking and Running to match your activity. Choose a song. We’ll find the rhythm. BeatStep looks up the tempo automatically. When it is available, start without tapping. If no tempo is found, BeatStep checks song information in your authorized iPhone media library. Only songs without tempo information need a 16-tap setup to the music. Your manual setting is saved for the next time you use the same song. Tempo availability varies by song. Automatic BPM is a constant-tempo estimate and judgments may drift if the tempo changes significantly. Songs with full beat data also support tempo changes. After each session, review your…
