A drafting sheet, and blocks with grooves cut into them. Lay a route from the feeder to the catcher, then let the ball go and find out whether it works. Laying a route is not the same as finishing one: a climb costs speed and a drop returns some of it, but what you get back from coming down never pays for going up again. Height is spent, not borrowed. Corners cost speed too. Nothing is settled until the ball has rolled. WHAT IS IN IT Practice — ten courses on small boards, where the rules are learned. Nothing is ranked. Open League — twenty hand-built courses, free, ranked by the total number of pieces used across the whole set. Fewest wins. Finishing them opens the Pro League.
