Breaker – fragherrnmaurer

Four open strings, four bow positions. Breaker is a brick-breaking game you steer with your violin, viola, cello or double bass. Play the G string and the bow slides to the far left. Play the E string and it slides to the far right. The app listens through the microphone and recognizes which string is sounding — there are no other controls. At the bottom a violin bow keeps the ball in play; at the top waits the wall: sometimes colorful bricks, sometimes xylophone bars, built as a scale, a tuning fork or a fortress. The ball bounces off the bow hair, bricks burst into little notes — and from the gaps fall stars and hearts to catch, or pianos, double basses and harps you had better dodge.
