Cadence: Clockwork Deckbuilder

Every card has its moment. Cadence is a roguelike deckbuilder played on a timeline. Each turn, the clockwork enemy lays out its plan on the same six ticks you play on. Strike before the hammer falls. Block on the exact tick the blow lands. Push its next move back a beat so it misses. Then the playhead sweeps the track, and every outcome is written beside the tick where it happened. THE CAMPAIGN: THE CLOCKWORK CITY • Five acts through an arcane steampunk city: down to the undercity, up the tower, across the Skyworks above it, and into the First Clock, where the Clockmaker waits. • 81 cards, 40 relics and 20 events, so every run builds a different deck. • 51 clockwork enemies, among them 10 elites and 5 bosses, each boss with a voice of its own. • At first the machine hides nothing.
