About Camivex
Camivex watches, records and annotates what a camera is seeing — the camera your device already has, or a camera on the network over RTSP. Everything stays on your device. There is no cloud, and no account to create. LIVE VIEW Use the built-in camera, or point Camivex at a network camera by its RTSP address. A network camera that publishes a WebSocket control endpoint can be started and stopped from the app. RTSP SERVER Publish the live picture to any RTSP player — VLC, a recorder, or another Camivex device on the same network. A network camera is re-published without being re-encoded, and a bundled clip can be served with no camera attached at all, so the server can be tried anywhere. RECORDING AND PRE-RECORD Save a clip as MP4. The pre-record buffer keeps the seconds before you pressed Record, so the moment you noticed is already in the file.
