Capy Times

Capy Times teaches the times tables, 2s to 12s, one small step at a time. A kid can use it alone, with nobody at home to help. HOW IT WORKS Each table starts with a quick check. If a kid already knows it, they move straight on. If not, the app shows the table, gives them a trick, and draws a picture for every fact: 7 × 6 becomes five rows of six plus two rows of six. Then they practise, a few minutes at a time. Wrong answers are never a failure. A kid gets one gentle "try again", then the answer appears with a picture and a one-line trick, and the same fact comes back a little later, turned around so they learn the fact and not the picture of the question. A fact only counts as learned when it's answered quickly on two different days. The app brings it back again after 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days to make sure it stays.
