Those twelve read as three separate pieces, and that split is the whole game: a corn planted right beside the beast lifts its horizontal arm, a pig set directly above or below lifts its vertical arm, and the diagonals only fall if the dragon gets both. Spend a tight stock of corn and pigs to open ground, then place your capybara herd one square at a time. Winning means getting every last one of them to safety.
