cat(a)log is the shared memory of a group of people who care for cats — or for any pets. It answers, at any time and for every animal: who is this, where does it live right now, what has happened to it, and who did what, when. It is built for how animal care actually works. Cats move: from the shelter to a foster home, from the foster home to an adopter, out of a garden and onto the street, back again. Several people keep the record: you, the person who covers your weekends, the neighbour who feeds the colony. Nobody has a server, and nothing must get lost. THE RECORD • Every animal has a place.
