Chaotron

A retro-style falling-block puzzle game with the grid taken out. Two rules changed, and all the chaos follows from them. ROTATION IS ANALOG Pieces are not limited to quarter turns. The right stick spins a piece to any angle at all, and holds it there. GRAVITY IS REAL A piece that lands is a rigid body. It tumbles, it slides, it settles wherever the physics puts it — on a corner, on a slope, wedged against a wall. The stack is a pile of objects, not a tidy grid of cells. So there are no rows to complete. A horizontal band clears when it is FULL ENOUGH: enough of its area covered, at any angles you managed. Only the blocks whose centres fall inside the band are removed. The rest of the piece survives, breaks into loose fragments if it has to, and keeps falling.
