An escape room played entirely through a terminal. You are locked in an isolation chamber with one console and a 60 minute purge timer. The way out runs through fifty years of computing: a 1977 PDP-11 running Unix v6, an Apple II dialing a bulletin board at 300 baud in 1983, Usenet the week the Morris worm hit in 1988, the early web in 1995, a Windows 2000 server still in service in 2008, and a 2015 Linux box. Every era is a hacking puzzle built from the tools of its day, and what you take from one machine is what gets you into the next. Every command you type belongs to that machine and that time.
