There was never a road on this earth. Roads are made by going. — Lu Xun City Arteries is a game about the arteries of a city — its roads — and you draw them. Buildings turn up where no road goes, and nothing shows you the right shape, because there isn't one. When cars start flowing along the line you drew, the town becomes yours. The aim is to see how big you can grow a town without choking it. Fast arrivals make money, money buys buildings, buildings send out more cars, and the road that was plenty a minute ago is not enough. Every reward is the next problem. A jam is never solved only one way. Widen the road, split the flow with a one-way street, run a busy junction as a priority road instead of on signals, or lift one road clear over another.
