ClassFlo

ClassFlo runs a weekly English reading lesson in a classroom, on three screens at once. The teacher opens the console on a laptop or iPad. The classroom screen shows the lesson to the whole room. Each student follows along on their own phone, with no account and no sign-up: they type the class code from the screen, or scan it, and they are in. The lesson moves in a fixed running order: the word strip, vocabulary, a true-or-false prediction, the reading with narration, comprehension, a word board, gap fill, spelling, focus listening, conversation, discussion, writing and a wrap-up. The teacher turns the page; the phones follow. Can't decide which article to read? Let the class vote from their phones, and when nobody votes, let the wheel decide. Students can also work through a lesson…
