Reversi, played among the stars. The rules are the ones you already know. Trap a line of your opponent's discs between two of yours and the whole line turns over. Whoever holds the most when no moves remain wins. A game takes only a few minutes. What is different is what happens while you play. EVERY DISC YOU TURN OVER EARNS STARDUST Not wins—captures. A long game that goes the wrong way still pays, because a close match you lost was still a match worth playing. A harder opponent pays more for the same game. Stardust buys the surface the board is cut from, the stone it sits on, the discs themselves, the sky behind it, the way the pieces move, and the music.
