CurlCue scores a hair product against your hair. Not against a universal good-or-bad list. Two people can scan the same bottle and get two different scores, because a rich butter that rescues coarse, low-porosity coils will flatten fine waves, and a clarifying wash that saves one scalp will strip another. Every other scanner tells both people the same thing. CurlCue doesn't. HOW A SCORE IS BUILT Every ingredient is read three ways: what it is doing in the formula, whether it belongs in this kind of product, and how it behaves on your hair specifically. A protein is not simply "good". It is good in a bond repair mask, unremarkable in a rinse-out, and a mistake on hair that is already protein-sensitive. Health comes first and it can veto.
