WindRide tells you what the weather will be where you are going to be, at the time you will get there. Import a route, set your start time and average speed, and WindRide builds a forecast for every ten minutes of riding: temperature, feels-like, rain chance, wind, gusts, humidity, cloud and UV — each one calculated for the place you will have reached by then, not for a city centre you are nowhere near. WIND, MEASURED AGAINST YOUR HEADING Wind speed alone does not tell a cyclist much. WindRide splits the wind into headwind, tailwind and crosswind using the direction the route is pointing at each moment, so you can see where the hard kilometres are before you start.
