A calendar that lives on your watch face. See a long weekend before you read it. Consecutive days off are not a row of separate red numbers — they become one vermillion band, so "how many days am I off" arrives before you start reading. Today is marked with a seal: a shape, not a colour, so it survives a tinted face and Always-On. ■ It does not disappear The complication pre-builds 48 hours of entries. The date rolls over even if the app never launches, and the display survives a lost connection. When the data does get stale we do not hide it — after six hours it says plainly when it was last updated. ■ It does not get the date wrong Japanese era years, era boundaries, leap years and time zones are all computed by Foundation's calendar.
