One of a kind: here you don't pick a throw from a menu and you don't press a button. The shape of your swipe throws the dice. The chord of the gesture gives the direction. The curve of your wrist gives the spin. The speed gives the power. The app reads your finger two hundred times a second, and from there physics and the cushions decide: no two throws are alike, because no two gestures are. No number decided in advance, no canned animation. Two real dice on a felt and mahogany table, in a room of wood and warm light. Several cameras follow the throw, with slow motion and a replay of the last instant: the die settling and showing its face is the highlight. • It matters how you throw.
