FollowTheMoney is an accountability ledger for small, trusted groups tracking a specific pool of money over time, such as an inheritance, shared winnings, a settlement, or another fixed sum distributed among several people and ledger accounts. One administrator maintains the authoritative ledger. The administrator creates participants and ledger accounts, records transactions and transfers, attaches receipts when appropriate, and distributes signed updates when the ledger changes. Participants receive read-only copies of the workspace so they can independently review balances, transaction history, transfers, receipts, and reconciliation information without directly changing shared ledger data.
