Drops: Pour-Over Coffee

Drops makes good pour-over coffee easy – even on a sleepy morning. Choose how much coffee you want: a cup, a travel mug or a carafe. The app works out how many grams of beans you need, how much water, what temperature the water should be and how long the pour will take. No thermometer kettle? You get a hint for how long to let the water rest after boiling. Then follow one curve from bloom to finished cup. The timer tells you when to pour for the bloom, how long to let the coffee bloom, and when to pour on. Tap Done when the water is in, and let it drip. Rate the cup and jot down the taste, and the app remembers it for next time. Got a Hoto kitchen scale with Bluetooth? Connect it and the app follows your pour automatically: it sees when you start pouring, when the bloom target is reached and when you have enough water.
