Earshot Alerts

Earshot turns a spare phone into a listener for your home. When it hears the smoke alarm, the doorbell or the dog, everyone in your household gets an alert on their phone, wherever they are. This is the app for your own phone: create your household, add a detector (the Earshot Detector app on an old phone left at home), choose the sounds it listens for, and get the alerts. Invite the people you live with, and everyone gets the alerts. HOW IT WORKS • Put the old phone where the sound happens: near the kitchen for the smoke alarm, in the hall for the doorbell.
