Echolo: sonar trainer

Echolo is a sonar operation trainer. You learn to set up the unit, handle the boat and read the sonar image on your iPhone or iPad, as many times as you need, on the same area or on a new one every time. It is a simulator, not a real sonar. Who it is for: water rescue, fire departments, police, search teams and public safety divers, dive schools and clubs, and organizations that train people to work with sonar. Searching for people underwater is one use, but not the only one. What the simulator models today: side-scan sonar. Range, frequency, gain and contrast change the image the way they do on a real unit.
