Einthoven Lab

Einthoven Lab turns your iPad into a 12-lead ECG teaching bench: a live, twelve-lead tracing you can shape knob by knob, on paper that keeps its millimetres honest. WHAT IT IS Einthoven Lab is an educational ECG simulator. Every tracing is generated by a mathematical model of the heart's electrical activity. Nothing is recorded from a person: the app never connects to sensors, hardware or accessories, and no patient data is involved at any point. ONE DIPOLE, TWELVE VIEWS The engine represents cardiac electrical activity as a single vector turning in the chest. Each of the twelve leads is that same vector seen from its own angle, so the leads always agree with one another: Einthoven's law (II = I + III) and Goldberger's identity (aVR + aVL + aVF = 0) hold exactly, at every sample.
