Turn-by-turn English–Japanese speech translation, plus a dedicated Japanese subtitle mode for English tour guides. The app interface is in Japanese. PREPARE ONCE, CHECK AUTOMATICALLY Requires iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Use Wi-Fi for the initial Apple speech and translation language downloads. The app checks saved models automatically at launch and asks for preparation only when needed. Device support varies. Preparing models alone does not start the microphone. CONVERSATION MODE Tell the other person you are translating, then start the conversation and grant microphone permission. Speak one short sentence at a time. After a pause, the app identifies English or Japanese, translates into the other language, and reads it aloud. The microphone pauses during translation and playback.
