Fabric Layout

Fabric Layout helps home sewists estimate fabric requirements and plan how their pattern pieces fit on the fabric. Create a project, enter the usable fabric width, choose a single, folded, or double-layer setup, and add rectangle, trapezoid, or triangle pattern-piece outlines. Set quantities, seam allowances, rotation limits, and fold requirements. The app checks hard constraints and produces a visual layout with estimated utilization. Purchase calculations can include head and tail allowance, shrinkage, purchase increments, and an optional price per meter. Projects are stored locally on your device. No account is required. The current version uses simplified outline presets and is intended as a planning aid, not a production cutting template. Always verify dimensions, grainlines, fold edges, seam allowances, and the physical fabric before cutting.
