Fire Break: Rescue Puzzle

The forest is burning and you are the firebreak. Fire Break is a turn-based puzzle on a hex grid. Each turn the fire spreads to every tree it can reach. You hold three pieces - two- and three-hex cutting shapes - and each one you place clears the trees under it. Draw a ring the fire cannot cross, and the forest inside the ring is saved. Miss a gap, and the fire pours through it. THINK BEFORE YOU CUT There is no timer. Take as long as you like to read the front, then place a piece. The fire only moves when you are done with your hand. Every level is a small tactics problem: where is the fire going next, which of your three shapes fits that gap, and which door do you close first? EVERY TREE COUNTS Your budget is the forest itself.
