FiredSize

FiredSize is an offline studio tool for sizing clay before it shrinks in the kiln. Enter a fired target and get the wet size to make, or start from a wet piece and see the fired result. Choose a saved clay or type a shrinkage rate. Use one step from wet to fired, or two steps from wet to dry to fired. Switch between millimeters and inches. Every result is a workshop estimate, not a kiln guarantee. Lab modes: • Target → Wet: fired size back to wet clay • Wet → Fired: wet size forward to fired • Fit Lid: body and lid with a clearance you choose • Set: two or three pieces on the same clay • Capacity: fired interior volume from a simple cylinder, or the reverse Calibrate a clay with test bars, save the piece, and open it again later. No account and no network.
