Flitread

Flitread displays your text one phrase at a time, right where you're already looking. Your eyes stop scanning and just read. It's RSVP: Rapid Serial Visual Presentation. Instead of a page you skim across, one chunk at a time appears in the same spot, with each word's optimal recognition point bolded so you catch it without having to work at it. Flow Mode breaks text into phrase-sized chunks instead of a fixed word count, so a two-word phrase and a six-word one still take the same beat to read. Speed is a slider, not a fixed setting: start slow, work up to genuinely fast. Rewind or jump to any position when you lose your place, no re-reading from scratch. Point it at whatever you're actually trying to get through: • EPUB books • PDFs • Word documents (.docx) • Plain text and HTML • Anything pasted from your clipboard • A URL - it pulls the article text and leaves the ads and nav behind…
