Food Additives: E-Numbers reads the ingredient list of packaged food for you: which additives are in it, where they come from, and whether they fit the filter you chose. Every result comes with its reason and its source; where nobody can be sure, it says "depends on the source, ask the manufacturer". BARCODE OR LABEL PHOTO • Scan the barcode; if the product is listed in Open Food Facts, the ingredients appear right away. • If the product isn't listed, take a photo of the label; the text is read on your phone, without internet. You can see the recognised text and correct it. • You can also type the ingredients in by hand.
