Food Sentinel checks food against your own list of flagged ingredients. Tell Food Sentinel which ingredients you want to watch for — additives, dyes, dairy, gluten, or anything else — and it flags them in scanned products, food searches and recipes. Every result is labeled: • MAY CONTAIN — one of your flagged ingredients was found in the listed ingredients • CHECK LABEL — found something that often contains one of your flagged ingredients • NOT FLAGGED — nothing on your list was found in the information available • NO DATA — no ingredient list was available to check SCAN BARCODES Point your camera at a product to pull its ingredient list from USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts, then see what matches your list — including ingredients made from your flagged items, like whey and casein for milk.
