Fractarium: Fractal Art

Watch mathematics turn into art. Fractarium draws fourteen fractals right in front of you – stroke by stroke or level by level – and lets you shape them while they grow. FOURTEEN FRACTALS Eagle Fractal, Fractal Tree, Pythagoras Tree, Barnsley Fern, Lindenmayer Plant, Apollonian Gasket, Koch Snowflake, Sierpinski Triangle, Hilbert Curve, Dragon Curve and Gosper Curve – plus the Mandelbrot Set, the Julia Set and the Burning Ship, computed pixel by pixel. SHAPE THEM LIVE • Change depth, angle, scale and line width while the fractal draws • Scrub through the timeline to follow every step • Pinch to zoom and drag to explore – up to 200,000× deep into the Mandelbrot Set, the Julia Set and the Burning Ship • Choose the speed and watch stroke by stroke or level by level YOUR LOOK • Three stages: Plain, Aura with glowing lines and a fresh ember glow, or Glass over shimmering gradients • Color by…
