Full Broadside

Full Broadside is a fleet game for iPhone. The top ocean is the other fleet. The bottom ocean is yours. Your fleet is a carrier (5), a capital ship (4), a cruiser (3), a submarine (3), and a destroyer (2). Drag the ships on the lower grid. Tap a ship to select it, then tap it again to turn it. Shuffle deals a new layout. Ships may touch, but they cannot overlap or leave the grid. On your turn, hold a square to see its name, such as G4, then let go to fire. A red peg is a hit. A white peg is a miss. When a ship sinks, those pegs give way so the hull can show. Sink every enemy ship to win. Solo games are against the computer. Choose Cadet, Ensign, Lieutenant, Captain, or Admiral. Cadet fires almost at random. Admiral reads the ocean and spaces its own fleet. After a run of solo games, the rank can step up or down on its own. Game Center does not use that rank. Game Center is the same…
