Geode: Rock & Crystal ID

You picked it up because something about it stopped you. Now it's sitting on a shelf, and you still don't know what it is or whether it's worth anything. Point your camera at it. In seconds you'll know the species, variety, Mohs hardness, rarity, and an estimated market value range - enough to know if you're holding quartz or something worth a second look. Save it to your collection and watch a running total value build as you add more finds. See what you own next to what you're still hunting for. Ready to go deeper on a piece you already own? A guided multi-angle appraisal - front, back, detail, coin for scale - returns a fuller grade, condition notes, and retail, quick-sale, and auction value ranges, plus a draft listing and suggested places to sell it, from eBay and Etsy to local gem shows. Not ready to appraise anything yet? Browse the built-in stone library by category, save pieces…
