GIOAT shows you how investors actually perform — measured, not claimed. Anyone can post a screenshot of a good trade. GIOAT connects directly to real brokerage accounts and calculates performance from daily portfolio snapshots, so the numbers you see are derived from actual account values rather than self-reported results. HOW PERFORMANCE IS MEASURED GIOAT uses Time-Weighted Return (TWR), the same methodology funds use to report performance. Deposits and withdrawals are identified and removed from the calculation, so adding money to an account never looks like a gain. All figures are historical and are clearly labeled as such.
