Photograph a grocery receipt and Gluten Gap reads the line items, identifies your gluten-free purchases, and looks up what the standard, gluten-containing version of each product costs. The difference — the gap — is added up for you. HOW IT WORKS 1. Take a photo of your grocery receipt, or pick one from your library. 2. Gluten Gap reads every line item and flags the gluten-free substitutes. 3. For each one, it searches for a comparable regular product and its current price. 4. You get a per-item breakdown and a total. Not everything is flagged correctly every time, so you can add or remove any item on the receipt before the comparison runs.
