The board never turns. Gravity does. Blocks fall onto an 8x8 board, and three or more of the same colour that end up connected are cleared. Familiar so far. What is different is that you never move a block. You move the floor. Flick the screen sideways and gravity turns 90 degrees. The whole stack falls toward a different wall at once, colours that never touched become neighbours, and a chain begins. The board itself never turns. What turns is only which way is down. ■ Three special blocks • Black rock — never clears on its own, even lined up. Wakes up and takes on a colour when something clears beside it. • Laser — clears its whole line the instant it lands. • Firework — blows away everything around it on landing. ■ Three ways to play • STANDARD — starts with 4 colours.
