HasenBau

HasenBau: Understanding Building Structures Through Mathematics HasenBau helps prospective and current architecture students understand the structural concepts and calculations used in South Korea by connecting them to the fundamentals of mathematics. Start where a past exam solution leaves you stuck. Trace unfamiliar formulas back to their principles, then to the foundational concepts behind them. Identify gaps in your understanding and connect the missing pieces. ■ Who It's For • Students exploring mathematics and building structures before architecture school • Architecture students revisiting formulas and their applications • Learners connecting mathematics, mechanics, materials, and structural design ■ Connect Concepts Through Problems Follow the concepts behind a solution, from beam deflection to flexural rigidity and curvature, then back to differentiation and functions.
