Hearthbook

Hearthbook keeps the upkeep of your home in one place: what needs doing, step by step guides for how to do it, and who did it last. It is made for families, including parents who are not comfortable with technology. Buttons are big, words are plain, and nothing is deleted without asking first. WHAT NEEDS DOING • Reminders for the things in your home: change the furnace filter, descale the coffee machine, fill the hot tub. • A Today screen shows what is due, with Done and Not now. • A morning notification you can answer without opening the app. HOW TO DO IT • Write a guide once, for this exact machine, with photos, videos and voice notes on each step. • Follow it one step at a time, with what you should see when a step worked. • Stuck? Text someone for help from the step you are on. • Guides and reminders appear in your own language, translated on your iPhone. WHO DID IT LAST • Everyone…
