It's 2050. The glaciers are gone, and the Thaw woke something that was frozen for ten thousand years. We call them Scorchers. They live for heat, they hate anything green, and they hunt the one thing you carry: cold. You are a Canary. Put your earbuds in, step outside after dark and play Heatwave on your own streets. FOLLOW THE SOUND A sonar in your ears leads you through your real town to hidden cold capsules. Each one holds a seed that could bring your streets back. STAY STILL. STAY QUIET. The cold you carry draws them in. When they come close, freeze, keep your voice down and find trees or water. You will hear them before you know where they are.
