A grid of 36 squares. Each one is held by a specialist: one knows the Psalms, another the animals of the Bible, a third the journeys of Paul. You start on a single square, and to take the next one you have to beat whoever holds it in a duel, on their own subject. The duel runs on a chess clock. Each side has 40 seconds, and your time only runs during your turn. Answer correctly and the turn passes to your opponent. You get one choice per challenge: a wrong answer costs three seconds and brings a new challenge, still on your turn. Whoever reaches zero first loses. Difficulty follows your opponent’s strength. Three kinds of challenge, depending on the square: • a picture to name: an object, an animal, a place; • a question about a person, a book, a number; • a verse with one word missing.
