HomeHistory keeps the history of your Apple Home accessories and charts it the way the Health app charts your steps. A spare iPad (iPadOS 16 or later) or a Mac (macOS 14 or later) becomes the Hub. It records every reading and change: temperature, humidity, light level, air quality, CO₂, PM2.5, battery level, brightness and thermostat targets; every door and window opening, motion, occupancy and lock change; every switch turned on or off. Your iPhone, other iPads and Macs show that history, synced through your own iCloud.
