Hungry Flytrap

The phone is the plant. Open an iPhone Duo and the inner screen becomes the inside of a Venus flytrap's mouth. Bugs fly in and land on the two leaves. Fold the phone halfway shut and the jaws come down: everything that has landed gets eaten. Close it all the way and the plant moves to the outside screen, googly eyes and all, while the game waits for you. On any other iPhone, and on iPad, touch the screen to bite. The trap stays shut until you let go. EAT THE BUGS, NOT THE WASPS • Flies, aphids, beetles, fireflies, grasshoppers and big horned beetles, each worth its own points. • Every bug in one bite multiplies the score, so it pays to wait for a crowd.
