JC Timegrapher

JC Timegrapher turns your iPhone into a timing machine (timegrapher) for mechanical watches. Rest your watch against the microphone and JC Timegrapher listens to the escapement to measure how well it keeps time — no extra hardware required. WHAT IT MEASURES • Rate — how many seconds per day your watch gains or loses • Beat error — how evenly the tick and tock are spaced • Amplitude — how far the balance wheel swings YOUR COLLECTION Save each watch to build a history of measurements and service records over time. Everything is stored privately on your device. HOW IT WORKS JC Timegrapher filters the microphone signal to isolate the escapement's ticks, then measures the interval between beats to derive the rate — refining the estimate continuously as it listens.
