Read Japanese speech in English, or English speech in Japanese. Choose the direction for the person speaking and take turns, with your phone close enough to hear. Your latest caption stays on screen after the speaker finishes, so you can read at your own pace. Scroll back through recent captions and tap one to check the original words. Choose the Japanese script that suits you: hiragana, furigana readings above kanji, or natural Japanese. Add names of friends and places to help Jimaku recognise unfamiliar words.
