JMI Backstage: Jones Basses

Backstage is the members' room for Jones Musical Instruments, the bass company built by Darryl Jones, who has played bass for Miles Davis, Sting and the Rolling Stones. THE WALL Post your rig, a tour story, or a technique. Comment on what other players put up. Photos welcome. Most of what goes up here is somebody's bass. ASK DARRYL Ask about playing, tone, or the instruments, and upvote the questions you want answered. The archive answers many of them in Darryl's own words, quoted from his interviews.
