Joy: Joyful Living

You call your mum on Sunday. You ask how she is. She says fine. Twenty minutes later you hang up and you still don't know what she did this week. JOY is built for the bit that call never gets to. You send her a photo — something from the weekend, or something from 1987 you found in a drawer. You can record a few seconds of your voice with it. On her phone, it arrives as one simple card: your picture, your words, and a button to hear you. Then JOY asks her something. What did the kitchen smell like on a Sunday? What was your first job? She talks for a minute, or she doesn't. It saves either way. What comes back to you is her voice. Not a status, not a score — her, telling you about the first car she owned, in the way she tells it. NOTHING IS REQUIRED She can open JOY, look at your photo, and put the phone down. That is a finished day. There is no pressure in it anywhere — no reminder…
